I started my yoga journey here at Yoga Rocks when it first opened. I heard that yoga could help manage anxiety, so I tried a class. It was hard. I cried. But, I noticed my breathing was calmer, my face was softer, and my body felt lighter, so I kept coming back. With the support of my teachers, this practice continues to give me the gift of peace.
As a teacher, I am drawn to the beauty of movement and celebrating individual strengths. Each student is unique and has postures that are natural and unnatural for them. My goal as a teacher is to nurture harmony between these two states.
I love this community. Yoga Rocks is my home, and I am grateful to be a part of it.
